Have you heard of the Small Purgatory Museum in Rome? If you are in Rome visit it. It is near the Vatican. Its near Castel San Angelo.

The extra ordinary collection of relics was the work of a Catholic priest. He observed that there were many cases of people in Purgatory returning to loved ones asking them for Masses and encouraging them to think of God and the after life. Indications are that there is fire in Purgatory. It is a fire that leaves its mark on clothes and objects as does the real fire we know here on earth.
DESCRIPTION OF SOME THE MOST IMPORTANT RELICS

1. Photographic reproduction of the altar of Our Lady of the Rosary located in a chapel which existed before 1900 between the present church and the religious house. One can see the picture which remained on the wall after a small fire took place on 15 November 1897.

2.Three finger-prints on the prayer book of Maria Zaganti of the Parish of St. Andrew in Poggi Berni (Rimini), left by the deceased Palmira Rastelli, the parish priest’s sister, on 5 March 1871.Palmira Rastelli, who had died on 28 December 1870,asked her brother Don Sante Rastelli, by means of her friend, for some Holy Masses.
